The receptionist, who also tended the bar, was really friendly. It’s a basic hotel, with a nice lobby and a big parking area. The toilets are shared by a few rooms. Breakfast was basic too, but had what you need.

I went to this hotel in 2008 and 2009 with a coach full of schoolchildren visiting Valcanberg. We were made very welcome, and the owners couldn’t do enough for us. It was fantastic, reasonably priced, and I’d recommend it to everyone.

We paid an extremely competitive price, and the staff were friendly. The beds were comfortable and breakfast was nice. The rooms are a bit dated but clean, and the shared bathroom is very basic. A good fit for a short, low-budget stay.

The room was very standard, and the heater felt pretty small for such a big space. They didn’t provide tand pasta, so I really didn’t enjoy it.

Ask for the special beer. The owner is a big part of why I’ll keep coming back. He loves people and chats with you from behind the nostalgic bar, making it feel like you’re part of a small family. The interior is old and very cosy. It gave me the feeling of returning to a forgotten old town after my studies, with all my friends waiting for me.
