Klosterhagen Hotell

Anne at the helpdesk was very kind and helpful. The hotel itself is right in central Bergen, so you can walk to the old town. It’s especially nice for the price, with good coffee and a lovely breakfast. The waffles are delicious too.

We felt very safe here as a group of women traveling together. The staff were lovely, and the hotel serves a nice breakfast. It’s a cozy, unusual place, with most things no more than a 15-minute walk away.

We really enjoyed our three-night stay in September. The breakfast had a great range of choices, and the bread was particularly good. Our room was clean, tidy, and had everything we needed, while the staff were lovely and very helpful. It’s in a great spot, quiet, with a pleasant walk down to the centre or over to the park. We’d happily stay again if we’re lucky enough to visit Bergen.

Breakfast was nice, served at decent times, and never got too busy. The staff were friendly and helpful too. I’d stay here again, especially if I’m going to another concert at the USF. The room was cozy and suited me as a solo traveler, though it might feel small for two. The floorboards creaked quite a bit, and I worried I might disturb the room below, but I couldn’t hear anyone else. One afternoon, the cleaner came in while I was in the bathroom. I hadn’t put up the do not disturb sign, so be sure to use it if you don’t want to be interrupted. The location was perfect for a concert at the USF, with easy access to the city centre and good for walking around.
