Clarion Hotel Air

Jana and Edmunds made us feel especially welcome with their thoughtful hospitality. The whole team was kind and attentive, and the service was top-notch. We also loved the food, which was exceptionally tasty, and the hotel had a lovely atmosphere. We’ll be back and would recommend it to others.

I spent more than 12 days here, and most things were fine. The internet was the problem: it felt like something from the 90s. I was in room 7002 by the elevator, and my friend was upstairs in 8002. In both rooms the connection dropped about every five minutes, with the signal fading to one bar or none. I reported it three times, but nothing was done.

The price felt a little high to me, and I wish the showers were more conventional. They work well, but could be more normal. Still, the hotel is comfortable, polished, and very well kept. I had an excellent stay and really liked it.

I stayed here for Modifikasjonskonferansen a while back. The food was tasty, but the portions were so small that I often wasn't full. After the burger on the first night, I was only about 60% satisfied and ordered more from Wolt later. The dinner at the main event was also small, though waitress Palvani found me some leftovers when I asked, and that meal tasted amazing. If you're a foodie, be prepared to leave hungry. The gym was tiny, oddly placed, and poorly signposted. The elevators were noisy, and the arrival chime was much too loud, though that wasn't a big issue. Rooms were clean and nicely decorated, but nothing luxurious. The large, airy reception area looked great, and the people at the desk were lovely. They even let us into our rooms early because they expected other guests to arrive later. Staff were kind throughout, including the wonderfully beautiful and efficient Aleksandra. When I left a book behind, someone emailed me about it, which was great service. Overall, a nice hotel with brilliant staff.
