Scandic Stavanger Airport

I've stayed here every month for the past year before an early flight, and the eggs have looked like this every single time. It's been eight months, clean the grill! I pointed out the dirt on the back of the eggs, and staff said it was coming off the grill. Then the grill needs replacing. Stop serving dirty eggs. If breakfast eggs are handled this way, I can only imagine the hygiene elsewhere in the breakfast area.

Being right beside the terminal is the hotel's biggest plus. I've stayed several times over the years, though the quality seems to have slipped and the shared spaces could be cleaned better. My room was comfortable, okay, and clean. I'd get food somewhere else if possible.

We ended up stranded at night after the hotel we'd booked told us to call a number for late check-in, but nobody showed up. Several places we called were full, and then we reached Scandic Stavanger Airport hotel. Receptionist Amalie answered and was a lifesaver, staying calm, kind, and incredibly helpful. She went out of her way to make our stay as good as she could. The room was lovely, and breakfast was excellent. Highly recommended.

The room was poorly cleaned and didn't feel worth the price. There was no Wi-Fi in the room, only by the entrance. The wooden floor near the window was badly damaged and looked worn, and it hadn't been cleaned properly. The curtains had obvious stains and looked like they hadn't been washed in a long time. There was hair on the bathroom towels. Breakfast was good, and the airport is close by, which was the main reason I chose this hotel.
