9ine Thamel Hotel

We really appreciated being able to leave our bags here while flying to Pokhara and returning to Kathmandu. The breakfast was delicious and felt homey, and the hotel and rooms were spotless, which made it a comfortable stay. The staff were professional and easy to approach, from the owner to every team member. There are only 9 rooms, and we’ve already asked them to hold one for our next trip. Highly recommend. A big shout out to Ashish and Karan and his team.

We planned to stay for 3 nights, but liked the accommodations so much that we booked extra nights. The hotel is very clean and comfortable, right in central Thamel, and the staff are fantastic. Karan, the hotel manager, was welcoming and helpful. He helped us book bus tickets to Chitwan and made storing our luggage really easy. We’ll 100% stay at 9ine Hotel again when we return to Nepal.

It felt like a home away from home in the middle of Thamel. The rooms are a good size, very clean, and have air conditioning and hot water. Breakfast was very good, and the team is attentive and focused on the guest experience. The price is very reasonable.

Lucky, the chubby lab, welcomes guests looking for cuddles and treats 😂. The hotel is right in the heart of busy Thamel, so it can get noisy at night. The windows help block the noise, but some people may still want earplugs. Step outside and you’re right in the center. We stopped by for lunch and dinner before our EBC trek, then came back to stay after trekking. The staff were welcoming, friendly, and helpful, and the GM helped make our stay wonderful. Our room was spacious and modern, with a cozy bed and a big bathroom. There’s free Netflix, complimentary bottled water, and a very nice à la carte breakfast with plenty of choice. All in all, a perfect stay.
