Thamel and the old town center are an easy 10-15 minute walk away, but the hotel stays surprisingly quiet despite being near local infrastructure. It’s great value for money. The rooms are like small apartments, with what you need for a comfortable short or medium stay. Staff are really friendly and ready to help with requests, and the laundry service is great. I’d recommend it.

I stayed here a few years ago, and if I were taking small children to Nepal, this would be an ideal choice. The back streets are easy to wander around with toddlers, and the rooms are clean and simple to childproof. It’s very child-friendly, with welcoming staff and a friendly feel.

Restaurants, cafes and shops were all within easy reach, which made the location convenient for daily errands and exploring. There was no parking for four-wheelers, but the easy access to everything else made up for that. I stayed at Feel Like Home from August 7th to September 16th, 2024, and it was a great experience. The apartment was clean, well-maintained and had what we needed for a long stay. The rooms were comfortable, and it was peaceful enough to unwind after a long day. The whole visit felt hassle-free. Staff were welcoming when we arrived and even helped my partner and me bring our luggage to the room. They responded quickly and were happy to help with extra cleaning or other requests, and it felt like they cared about our comfort. Friendly staff, good service and a convenient location made Feel Like Home a fantastic place to stay. I’d recommend it to anyone looking for comfortable, well-managed accommodation for a short visit or a longer stay.
