The rooftop was a highlight, with nice places to sit and a small, charming restaurant. My room was comfortable and clean, and there was hot water. Staff were friendly, helpful, and offered excellent service. The laundry service was handy too. I liked the location in a quiet, pleasant area away from the main bustle, a relaxing place to stay. I had a great stay and highly recommend it for a peaceful, comfortable visit.

I enjoyed my 4 nights here. This is a budget option that works well if you want privacy and can live with basic amenities and the possibility of noisy neighbors. I booked a Budget Single Room, which can fit 2 people, and Agoda was cheaper. The rooms vary, so it’s worth checking room options before settling on one. The inn sits on smaller streets away from the noisy tourist road, but the shopping and eating streets are only a few minutes’ walk away. There’s parking, and the old brick courtyard has a quiet, charming feel. The garden and parking entrance are visible from the window and balcony, which is shared with all doors. Deepak was friendly and accommodating when I arrived in the middle of the night, and woke up to check me in. Reception was efficient. It’s a plain lobby, just for check-in. Staff carried my suitcase up when I arrived and down when I left, and I liked being able to choose the floor. You can reach room service by calling from the room. Laundry service is available too. My room was a reasonable size, old-fashioned and clean, with good lighting and decent Wi-Fi. The bed was old and thick, and one part of the mattress was worn out, but it was okay if you’re not fussy about beds. The pillows and sheets were adequate and freshly laundered. There’s no cabinet for clothes. I stayed in a non-AC room, which had good ventilation from windows on one side and a small high window. There was a TV, though I didn’t use it. The in-room menu covers food and drinks. It takes a while when they cook to order, but it’s worth the wait, so order ahead if you’re impatient. Kitchen staff were efficient about bringing things to my room after one call. The bathroom was big, with towels, toiletries, and a handheld bidet. The hot and cold shower was reliable and the water pressure very strong. Slippers and bottled water were provided, but there was no coffee, fridge, or heater for water or coffee. You can request hot drinking water if you’re willing to wait. Food was decent with a full menu. Service could be a bit slow since they cook after you order. There’s open-air dining on the rooftop and in the garden, though it may not appeal if you’re a non-smoker. The top-floor rooms are the best, so keep in mind there are stairs to climb. I had some strange neighbors who kept knocking on my door during my 4 days, and at one point noisy neighbors were smoking. Those things weren’t the inn’s fault, but you might not feel comfortable if you’re very concerned about safety or neighbors. Shoutout to Deepak, the other guy at reception, and the kitchen crew.
