Our Nepal trip began here, and it was a great start. The hotel sits down a nearly cul-de-sac-like street in Thamel, so you get the area without the traffic noise and chaos. The staff made the biggest impression. They were so courteous and helpful, always smiling, and greeted us whenever we passed the lobby or restaurant. Thanks to Rosy, Aastha, Bharat and Vikas for all their good work. Our room had plenty of space, tea bags and a hot kettle, and the bathroom was stocked with toiletries. Getting the shower temperature right was tricky, though the weather meant we didn't really need hot water.
