I've stayed here for 10 years, and this great family has helped me all that time. The rooms are basic and affordable. If you're after budget accommodation in the heart of Thamel, expect some noise along with it.

The location is right in the heart of Thamel, but that's the only good thing about this place. Despite being charged for hot water, there wasn't any, and the WiFi was out too. The room lock took forever to lock or unlock. Don't trust the positive reviews. Stay at your own risk, especially if everywhere else is occupied.

The location is right in the heart of Thamel, and the prices are reasonable. Staff are lovely, welcoming, and friendly. The place is locked up in the evenings, so you need to buzz to get into the building. Rooms and toilets are always clean, with a towel for each person, and there's always hot water.
