Hotel The Doors

Raj was lovely and helpful, making sure everything was alright right down to the little details. He really loves Israelis.

The restaurant at The Doors Hotel had a good range of dishes for different tastes, and its central location made it easy to get to nearby attractions and amenities. I also loved the spacious, comfortable room and its necessary amenities. The modern, stylish design feels both chic and welcoming, and the staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, going out of their way to make my stay special. A fantastic experience, and I can’t wait to come back.

The owner is such a fun, kind, and helpful guy. My father and I liked the atmosphere so much that this became our go-to place in Kathmandu. It’s right in central Thamel, easy to get around from, and the area feels safe. The rooms are clean and spacious, with AC and WiFi.

We had a great meal at the restaurant, and the tea and juice were amazing too. Everyone working there was so friendly. The hotel is right in the middle of everything, but far enough from the street noise to feel peaceful. Our room was clean and just the right size. After one night, we left our luggage there for a week-long trek out of pokhara and came back to no problems. Booking another night was easy, and I plan to stay again after my yoga retreat because the service was amazing. Strongly recommend.
