Kathmandu Home Hotel

The location made getting to shops, major sights, and transport easy, while the hotel itself still felt peaceful. Staff were warm and attentive, and everything from check-in to housekeeping ran smoothly. I found the stay comfortable and good value, and would recommend Kathmandu Business Hotel for either work or a city visit.

The rooftop restaurant had plenty of space and comfortable seating, and served both breakfast and dinner. I enjoyed a very tasty coffee there one evening. Our room was spacious, with a desk and chairs, plus a clean bathroom with a long sink counter, outlets, a dryer, towel racks, a seated toilet, and a shower. There’s an elevator by the lobby, too. The hotel sits quietly behind a busy street full of shops, restaurants, and hotels, right in the traditional Kathmandu business area. We stayed four days in total, before and after trekking to ABC and visiting Pokhara and Chitwan. On our first arrival, during the local Festival of Lights, candles and flowers lined the grounds from the front yard to the lobby door. Staff were polite, professional, and accommodating. I’d stay here again if I return to Kathmandu.

I spent a week here before and after trekking in the Himalayas. The rooms were very clean, with comfortable beds and large bathrooms. The front desk and security staff were especially kind, as were the people serving breakfast on the rooftop. I had a great stay and will be back. Thanks.
