The room has four people sharing two bunk beds, with a storage drawer under each bed, one table, and one chair. There’s a TV, but it doesn’t work. The floor was dirty, and there was no hot water or western toilet. Bring your own toiletries and towel. Apart from a mattress, pillow, and blanket, nothing else is provided. People smoke in the rooms. The WiFi is really poor in the room and only works well in the main hotel lobby. There’s no backup electricity when the power goes out. Off season, prices can be as low as 350 rupees a night.

I stayed at my friend's place at Bauddha, chechupati. It's a beautiful spot, with lovely views of the Himalayas, especially in October.
