The garden was a lovely quiet spot for breakfast and relaxing, and the room I had was roomy and well equipped. The staff were also warm and helpful. But the owner's rude, discourteous manner really spoiled the stay. I'd stayed here before and sent many friends visiting Nepal, but I wouldn't recommend Norbu Sangpo now unless dealing with the owner isn't a concern for you.

We used to have such a good, friendly stay here. This time the bathroom was in awful shape, there was no hot water for a shower, the intercom phone didn't work, and the blankets smelled bad. The workers didn't come when we called. The owner should be looking after these things.

I stayed at Norbu Sangpo in August and again in October 2019, and it's still my favorite place in Boudha. It's tucked into a quiet spot behind white gompa, close to Boudhanath stupa but away from the noise and dirt. The garden is beautiful, and the place feels calm and spacious. Rooms are neat, clean, and have what you need for a reasonable price. When anything's missing, the staff are happy to help. They're kind and helpful, and the food is excellent too.

We spent a week at the norbu sangpo hotel while visiting Nepal. The garden courtyard is a lovely place to eat or sit in the sun, and there's a guard there around the clock. It's a generous property near the stupa, but quiet and sheltered from the city's constant noise. Our room was large, bright, furnished well, and very clean, with no trouble getting hot water. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the food was excellent. We'd gladly recommend it to anyone looking for a place in Boudha.
