OYO 120 Hotel Tayoma

Before 2010, I spent more than a year of my life here. The staff felt like family, and we used to play table tennis in the meeting room 🤣. I don’t know what it’s like now, but back then it was amazing.

It’s right in the heart of Thamel, Kathmandu’s tourist hub, with restaurants, bars, shops, and a very nice supermarket all around. The rooms are clean, the bathrooms are good, and the Wi-Fi is high speed. The complimentary breakfast is good too, and the price is very reasonable.

I checked the nearby hotels carefully, and this one had the best price. The rooms are good, the bathroom is spacious, and the beds were comfortable. It was quiet, too, right in the middle of Thamel Market.

It looked good on several websites, but the actual place was poor. They showed me their best room, and it was covered in fungus, with seepage on the wall and fungus on the curtains because of it. I’d never recommend anyone stay here.
