OYO 142 CO International Guest House

I gave one star only because there wasn't a zero star option. They charged us 2500 per night but provided service like we'd paid 200. The staff were rude to guests, there was no electricity, AC or hot water, and they didn't provide room service. When I asked for clean bedsheets, they refused and said, “WE DONT HAVE ANY SHEETS AVAILABLE.” I wish they knew how to serve customers. Hope this review helps.

There are much nicer places in the area for the same price or less, so I wouldn't recommend this hotel. Our stay included water flooding throughout the property, and we heard noise all night through glass slats above our door that wouldn't close. At dawn, hammering outside our room woke us up. The rooms were extremely small, and the photos were misleading. Our first room was filthy, so we moved, but the second room and bathroom were dirty too. Wi-Fi didn't reach the room. The restaurant was oddly located underground and separate from the hotel, with no menus or prices available.

The front desk should have people who know how to handle customers well, and the hotel owner should think about guests. Around two months ago, my wife and I arrived at about 8 o'clock in the morning and asked for a room rate with breakfast. Reception quoted 2500. I checked OYO at that moment and saw an offer for 1500 with breakfast. When I asked the staff to give me the OYO price for that plan, they refused. They said if I booked through OYO, we'd have to wait until 12 o'clock noon to get an OYO room. What the hell?

It's near shree pashupatinath temple, which is the only good thing. The room was small, the surroundings were noisy, and there were no facilities at all. It seems like somewhere to sleep, not stay. There are many better hotels in the same area. I'll never return.
