It’s a good experience staying here, with a local feel and kind, open-minded staff and neighbors. The place is a little away from the center, but there are plenty of restaurants and small shops nearby, and the city center is still reachable, about an hour on foot.

The dorms were clean, and the shared areas had a fun, welcoming feel that made it easy to be around other people. I found the atmosphere relaxed and social, which was great as a solo traveler. Staff were lovely and always happy to share tips about local attractions. I had an amazing stay at Hotel Sara's Backpackers and would definitely recommend it.

I especially liked the warm communal spaces, where it was easy to meet other travelers. The on-site amenities were top-notch, and the staff were so friendly and helpful, sharing local tips and even organizing tours. Hotel Sara's Backpackers is near Baniyatar Bridge, a handy spot for reaching the city as well as quieter nearby areas. My room was clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully set up for backpackers. An incredible stay in Kathmandu, highly recommended.
