The fast, dependable internet made working remotely easy, and the location gave me convenient access to everything in Kathmandu while staying peaceful and comfortable. I spent 14 days in a private room at Sparkling Turtle Hostel and found it safe, clean, and well cared for. The owners and their family were so hospitable that it felt like being at home. I first stayed here 11 years ago, and coming back last month was just as special. The warmth, quality, and atmosphere have stayed consistently good over the years. I’d recommend it to solo travelers, people staying longer, and digital nomads looking for a friendly, reliable place.

The rooms were the cleanest and most comfortable I’ve stayed in. It’s easy to get around on foot, and the area feels more peaceful than other parts of the city. Ajeet and his family were attentive, friendly, and helped with all my questions. I had a really nice time and am very grateful to them. When I return to Kathmundu, I can’t imagine staying anywhere else.

I loved my time at The sparkling turtle Hostel. The rooms are spacious and very clean, and the family running the place is genuinely welcoming and hospitable. They also have plenty of advice about things to do and places to visit. It’s just outside town, so you can walk in easily while being far enough away from the other tourists. Easily one of the best hostels I’ve stayed in.

Shops and restaurants are close by, as are the Budda Park and the Monkey Temple, and it’s in a nice local area. The hostel is clean and quiet. Ajeet and his wife looked after everything so well, and I felt at home and relaxed from the minute I arrived. It’s a wonderful family owned place, and I’ll definitely come back.

The staff were so kind they even came to find me when I got lost looking for the place. I had a relaxing stay and felt very safe as a solo female traveller. The accommodation is clean, comfortable, safe, affordable, and in a quiet part of Kathmandu. 10/10, I recommend it!!
