We felt safe walking around, and one of our favorite parts was wandering through the streets of Thamel and beyond, taking in everyday Kathmandu life. Vastu Boutique Hotel is well placed, close to restaurants, shops, and laundry services, and near enough to walk everywhere, while still tucked away and peaceful. The rooftop was a lovely spot to relax, and our room was spacious, clean, and comfortable. Ashish and his team made the stay special. They were welcoming, friendly, and always ready to help with local information, recommendations, or travel arrangements. Prabin was especially lovely and greeted us with a smile every time. We had a wonderful time and would happily return. Great service, a convenient location, and a warm personal touch.

Being able to walk to nearly everything on my list made this stay especially convenient. Vastu Boutique Hotel is right by the main market, with plenty of shops and restaurants nearby. I also loved Graveaty, the hotel restaurant, especially since it stays open late. Breakfast was a great start to each day. Aashish, the manager, made the trip memorable with local tips and help finding some great deals. The hospitality was genuinely next-level. I had an incredible stay.

This little boutique hotel has a big heart. The rooms were clean and fantastic, and everyone on staff was wonderful, especially the cooks. Get the French toast. They helped us sort out flights and trips, and even took us to a bank and to get a SIM card. It’s in a really quiet area compared with India, and the restaurant across the street is worth trying too. One of the best hotels I’ve stayed at anywhere. I’d give it 10 stars if I could.

Such a cozy place to stay. The rooms were comfortable, and the rooftop was a nice spot to hang out. It’s tucked right by Thamel market, but felt like a little oasis from all the activity. The staff were really friendly, and when I had an early bus to catch, they kindly packed breakfast for me to take along. I enjoyed my stay.

We’d love to come back. The staff made us feel welcome and helped with both activity ideas and arranging cabs. Breakfast was included, with lots of choices, and it was delicious and filling. The hotel was close to everything we needed while still being quiet.
