The views from rooms 201 and 202 were a huge part of our stay. Both rooms had full glass walls looking across Pokhara and the lake, plus two little balconies. We could even watch paragliders from inside. The staff were lovely and very courteous, and all the food we tried, from sandwiches to momos, was handmade with care and tasted great. This hotel is hard to praise enough. I’d give it 100 out of 100.

We only had a short stay because bad weather in Kathmandu cut our trip short, but this guesthouse was a highlight. From there we could see Pokhara, Phewa lake, the sunrise, and parts of the Annapurna range. It’s close to the main Sarangkot viewpoints and paragliding shops, and there’s even car parking. The family made us feel very welcome, and the food was delicious.

It’s been seven years and three stays, and we still love this place. The rooms and accommodation are excellent, and the quiet setting is great when you want to relax. The family are so welcoming and hospitable that we feel at home every time. We’ll be back again.

You can feel the owner’s care in this place, which they’ve built up little by little. The kindness and warmth show in the way guests are looked after. Meals are simple home cooking, but really delicious, and the chai is amazing. The views are breathtaking too. Such a heartfelt little gem.

That 270° view is the thing I’ll remember most. On a clear day you can see the Annapurna, while cloudy weather still leaves you with a huge sweep of the city, valley, lake, and paragliders. We were lucky to get one of the owner’s best rooms on the top floor. It was spacious, simply furnished, and had a balcony. Breakfast was straightforward and delicious, with generous portions. One night they asked if we wanted dinner and made a nearly perfect home-cooked dal bhat. You can eat upstairs with the view or downstairs in the dining area. Meals have a reasonable charge. The Panoramic View Hotel is a short one-minute walk down from the main road. The path is a bit steep, so bear that in mind with a backpack or wheeled luggage. 200% for the view and hospitality!
