The owner let me use his cell phone for an emergency call to the USA, and he picked us up and dropped us off when we arrived and departed. The rooms were nice, with a hot shower, and the kids loved bouncing on the trampoline after being cooped up on a plane. It's affordable accommodation near the airport, with cool restaurants, cafes, and shops an easy walk away. Wonderful stay!

We stayed one night to be near the airport. The room was clean and so comfortable, and the kitchen was equipped well enough for a longer stay. They even had fresh milk and arranged an early taxi.

There was hair in one bed and silverfish in the other, so we spent the night sitting in chairs. Don't stay here if you want to sleep. The staff didn't seem to care. When we mentioned the silverfish, they just said, “Oh yeah, we have silverfish bugs.”

The place was tidy and had everything needed for a short visit, and it was excellent value near Christchurch airport. There's a shuttle that runs until around 9pm. Because of my flight times, I took an Uber instead, and it cost very little.

I arrived in winter, and the staff had kindly warmed the room beforehand. It made a world of difference. The room was clean and tidy, adequately equipped, and had a comfy bed. They'd also left a small bottle of milk for tea or coffee, a thoughtful touch. My check-in was after hours at 2am, but they sent easy-to-follow instructions in advance, and parking was right outside my unit. The staff were helpful and friendly, and the international airport is close by. Highly recommend them.
