The only letdown was the Sky TV. Most channels wouldn’t work, which was a shame after a long day of travel. Otherwise, the motel was quiet, clean and comfortable, with a spacious bathroom. Cafes and restaurants in town are close by, and the ferry is just a couple of minutes away. We’d stay again.

A quiet, clean and fairly basic place that worked well for an overnight stop. The TV channel selection was below average, but I’d stay here again.

I always book here when I’m catching the ferry to the North Island. The rooms are clean, and I find the stay comfortable.

You can walk into town from here, and the staff are friendly. My room was super clean.

We stayed in late December and had a good stay overall. There was a faint curry smell in the room, though I’m not sure anything could be done about it, and the bathrooms at the front of the room felt a bit exposed. The price was good, they gave us fresh milk, and I’d come back.
