Kym, the manager, was brilliant at arranging our Milford Sound tours and helicopter hike. She runs a tight ship, and we had a great stay for several nights. The room was immaculate and full of character, as was the lodge, and we slept well each night. We had early starts so didn’t get to try breakfast, but it all looked amazing. Thanks for a great stay, Kym. It won’t disappoint!

We had a lovely stay. The host made us feel welcome, was friendly, and went out of her way to accommodate us. Our room was comfortable with a beautiful view, and the lodge has so much character. The location worked perfectly for exploring Te Anau and continuing on to Milford. Breakfast was amazing too.

We’ll definitely stay here again next time we’re in the Te Anau or Milford Sound area. The room was beautiful, and the bed was so comfortable. Staff were kind and incredibly helpful. There was a lovely library with tea and cakes included, and breakfast was delicious.

This was a beautiful stop on our trip. Our hosts were accommodating, and we felt right at home. The former convent has tons of wood and so much character, with a warm, inviting feel. Our room had lots of windows and a spectacular view. The bed was comfortable, and the jacuzzi tub was welcome. The robes were the fluffiest things I’ve ever felt, and generously sized.

Te Anau Lodge is a gem in picturesque Te Anau, and the Chapel theme gives the place extra charm. We loved the upstairs library, and our room was so comfortable. The lady managing the lodge was helpful and accommodating. Great location too. Highly recommend it.
