The owners were welcoming, and Hunter the cat came by for a visit. Our two-bedroom unit had everything we needed after a long day on the road, including a stovetop and microwave for cooking. The shower had good pressure. There was a double bed in one room, two singles in the other, plus a single bed and sofa sleeper in the lounge. It’s a little old, but spotlessly clean. My grandchildren especially loved the swings beside the unit. Thanks for having us, we’ll be back and would recommend it to family and friends.

Stella, who runs the Judges pool motel, was so helpful and went out of her way to make our stay comfortable. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the location worked perfectly for our fishing holiday in Turangi, within walking distance of shops and amenities and just a stone’s throw from the famous Tongerriro River. I’d definitely recommend it for a fishing trip. For the price, I doubt you’ll find a more comfortable motel. I’ll be back next year.

We’ve stayed here several times and will gladly come back. It’s relaxing, and we always feel so welcome. Reception is supportive and cheerful, the location is great, and it’s lovely and quiet at night. Thank you, and Merry Christmas!

We especially liked having so much room to cook in the kitchen and dining area. The unit was like a spacious one-bedroom apartment, with a kitchen that had everything we needed. It was sparkling clean, too. The location is great and the staff are very helpful. Can’t wait to return!

We stayed a few nights while in town for the Chiefs funeral. The place was clean and just right for my daughter and me, and I was happy with the price. Having a designated parking spot was great for car security. The host was lovely, too. We forgot something when we left, and she let us know straight away.
