Trentham Motel

Mark, the owner, was fabulous to deal with. I called him with the problems, and he quickly got his worker to open the office so we could pay and to bring fresh towels. He also came by and fixed the TV while we were out, then contacted me to let me know. I appreciated that. I’d give him five stars, but the rest of the experience gets two at most. Three adults stayed in a unit for four for three nights. It had just one teaspoon and two dessert spoons, wasn’t serviced, and the office was hardly open. The fridge didn’t work properly, so our cold drinks weren’t cold and the milk we bought was warm. The TV runs through wifi. When it stopped working, I asked the manager for help, but he took over 25 minutes to come, and I got it going myself in the meantime. The next morning it wouldn’t work again. The manager told me to contact the owner, though I said that was his job. We tried to pay the day before leaving, but the office was closed. It was still closed when we tried again later. No discount was offered for the lack of service when I paid.
