The room was clean and well equipped, and we especially enjoyed the little animal visitors. Our host was friendly and helpful, even lending us umbrellas. We loved our two nights at Goldmine Motel and would highly recommend it.

It was my first time in Waihi, and I spent the weekend at Goldmine Motel. Pam was on hand, warm and welcoming, and always friendly and helpful. Vicky was away, but the motel was clearly in great hands. Thoroughly recommend it, and thank you for everything ❤️

We were eight older cyclists on a five-day ride along Waikato roads and trails, and the motel had what we needed, including a safe shed for storing our bikes overnight. The spacious rooms were very clean, quiet, and comfortable. Manager Vicki was friendly and helpful. It’s close to the town centre and the excellent Ti Tree Café.

The room had lovely natural light and was very clean and comfortable. My husband and I stayed here while visiting Waihi, and the ten-minute walk into town was easy. On rainy stretches, we cozied up and watched our favourite shows on the smart TV, which was a nice bonus. The staff were so helpful and accommodating, and the resident cats and dog were very friendly ❤️
