It's right by the river in a quiet spot, though not in the center, about a 10-minute walk away. The hosts were very friendly and welcoming, and we felt comfortable throughout. Our large studio was very clean, with a top-notch bathroom that had a shower and whirlpool. The kitchen was functional, the mattresses were great, and we slept so well. Excellent value for money, and we'd gladly come back.

I paid $185 for a studio with a spa, which felt overpriced once I found that the advertised spa was out of order. I see it was already like that a year ago, so the owners shouldn't advertise a spa if there's no spa. The room was spacious and very clean, but smelled odd. The bathroom drain turned out to be blocked and stinky. The cleaners had tried to cover it with products, which only made it worse. I came up from Wellington for a night away from the southerly storm.

We booked the dog-friendly room, and it was exceptional in every way. The accommodation was beautiful, spotlessly clean, and better quality than I expected for the price. There's a full spa in the bathroom, and we had our own off-street parking spot. Bring yourself and your best friend for a wonderful stay.

We felt really well looked after. The motelier was fantastic, and their dinner recommendation was spot on; we had a fantastic meal. The rooms were great for our family, with a separate room for the kids, and the bath was fantastic too.

The room was spotless, and after a long day sorting out my mom's house, those two comfortable recliners were a real treat. The kitchenette and bathroom were well equipped, with a roomy spa bath and a shower that had great pressure. The TV had a generous selection of Sky channels, and parking was spacious. The manager gave us a very friendly welcome. I'd stay again and recommend it, especially at such a reasonable price.
