The rooms weren’t clean, and breakfast was extremely basic, not worth paying for even if it’s included. Room service seemed to deliberately drag its feet over every request, from a towel to a bottle of water. They decide whether they’ll serve you or not. I’ve never had worse service. Better to stay home, it’d be more comfortable. If you have no choice, stay and get through it. Otherwise, a strong no.

The rooms have a traditional look when you walk in, and everything was great. Staff were attentive and quick to bring what you needed. The amenities were nice, and the price was very good. One of my favourite hotels here in muscat, I’d love to keep coming back.

It feels clean and homely in the rooms, and the staff are great. The hotel is close to the main road, a fuel station, shops and other useful places. Mr. Balaji was very kind and looked after all the conveniences, and Ismail was a great caretaker too. Very family friendly. A must stay if you’re around.

My stay at Pioneer Hotel Apartments was made unpleasant by the customer service. Manager “Bala” was rude and unprofessional, and dismissed my concerns instead of responding respectfully or trying to resolve them. I felt unheard and undervalued, and the lack of basic courtesy was shocking for a place where hospitality matters. That interaction overshadowed the rest of the stay and reflects poorly on the establishment. I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone who expects respectful, professional treatment. Management should provide proper customer service training so guests feel welcome and cared for.
