The front desk woman was very accommodating, and the room was really clean. If you need air conditioning, make sure to tell them ahead of time.

The location near Plaza de Armas was handy, and the staff were generally friendly. A few hours before checkout they kept our bags while we went on a tour, and they even put some grapes we'd bought in their refrigerator. Breakfast was delicious, and the person serving it was very kind. We didn't use the pool because we were so upset by what happened in the lobby, though it looked clean and tidy. Our stay got off to a bad start when the room we were given looked very different from the one in the WhatsApp catalog we had booked from. Maybe it was a management mistake, but the young woman checking us in came across as unfriendly to us and didn't seem to know the names or types of rooms shown on WhatsApp. For the price, the room really didn't meet our expectations. There were hardly any electrical outlets, the table was worn, the nightstands were very old, the mattress and pillows felt outdated, and the shower door wouldn't close properly. If you decide to book, I'd ask for a recent photo of the actual room. The WhatsApp pictures show fans, but the rooms don't actually have them. Also send a picture of the room you want instead of relying on its name. The receptionist seemed unaware that the rooms had names and appeared to think the standard and comfort rooms were the same. A photo before booking could help avoid the same unpleasant surprise.

This is a budget place, and the room was basic, really just for sleeping and washing up. The mattress sagged badly and was uncomfortable. I can't say whether it was simply worn out or something else. At least the room was quiet. Smoking is prohibited in the room, though there are no smoke detectors. My room was in a building two houses away from the hotel, reached through a dark passage. Motion-activated lights there would help prevent people from falling. The price for what you get was acceptable, but there's room to improve the experience. Service was okay, though some replies from reception felt unpleasant. They also didn't honor the parking space they'd promised. It was eventually sorted out, but another guest had to move their car. Otherwise I would have had to get up at 3:30 a.m. to move mine for a guest checking out. You rent a room to sleep peacefully, not to be woken in the middle of the night.

Mariano, the young man who helped me, gave excellent service. They even let me use the pool at night. I'd recommend the place.
