We felt right at home here, especially since Cusco was our first stop in South America. The staff were really nice and helpful, and the room was good, with hot water in the bathroom and a hair dyer. It’s about a one-minute walk to Plaza de Armas, which made arranging local tour pickups easy. I loved this hostel and would choose it again if I come back.

Right in the middle of Plaza de Armas, so the location is a 10. The free breakfast in the morning was a nice bonus, and the bed was big and comfortable with plenty of hot water. All the staff were exceptionally nice and helpful. It’s definitely a 3 star hotel, but for what this place is, it’s five stars. It couldn’t be better.

This is a charming, family-owned hotel with very friendly staff. I booked a one-bedroom room by mistake instead of a two-bed room, and they kindly upgraded us without charging extra. The rooms are basic, not fancy, but clean and comfortable. The main square is very close, which is convenient, though the nearby bars and discos can get noisy. Weekdays were quiet, but on Saturday night the disco noise made it hard for us to sleep. Cusco nightlife is surprisingly lively, especially for someone used to NYC. For a budget stay with a handy location, comfortable rooms, and lovely staff, this is a good option.

We had to leave at 4 am, and the front lady was so accommodating that she made breakfast and packed it for us. She was polite and helpful, and the service was great. Our room was clean and comfortable, the location was very good, and the breakfast was delicious. Highly recommend it.

Maruja was especially kind and helped nurse me back to health before the Inca Trail, going well beyond what I expected. The whole staff were friendly and helpful. It’s centrally located but quiet, the breakfast is delicious, and it was great value. One of the best places we stayed in South America. I’d highly recommend it.
