Being able to use the kitchen was a real bonus after so many meals out. Our three-week stay at Kukuli Lodge was comfortable from start to finish. The hosts were kind and helped with whatever we needed, even if we may have stayed longer than they usually expect. The rooms are spacious, with private bathrooms and hot water, which can be hard to find in Peru. We slept really well and felt rested enough to keep traveling. The center is about a 25-30 minute walk, or you can grab one of the many passing taxis for around 5 soles. We'd happily stay again.

I booked this place because I have a broken foot and use crutches. Nobody told me the reservation had been canceled. I only learned that while waiting outside, when my driver kindly called them. I still had to pay the $18, and the lack of communication made an already difficult situation a major hassle. I know $18 isn't much, but I would not stay here again. 👎👎

The hosts were helpful and the price was very good. It's a friendly guesthouse in a quiet, convenient spot, with rooms opening onto lovely green courtyard gardens.
