The rooms were a little outdated, and noise traveled from other rooms and conversations in the hall, so light sleepers might want earplugs. I’d bring your own shampoo and conditioner too, since the packets provided aren’t great quality. Breakfast was decent, with scrambled eggs available on request, plus fruit, bread, ham, cheese, yogurt, coffee, and tea. Everyone at the hotel was welcoming, and it’s conveniently close to shops and restaurants.

The service was attentive, and my room was comfortable in this lovely old colonial style building. It’s an easy walk to Plaza de armas. Highly recommended.

It’s a charming old hotel on a quiet street, with an easy walk around the old town. Service was good, and the water pressure was decent. The beds were okay, but the pillows weren’t great. I couldn’t get enough hot water for a bath in the big tub, and the jets didn’t work anyway.

The building has cool architecture and is decorated like a church, but our room had issues. The shower head didn’t work, so I was glad there was a bathtub. Thin walls made it hard to sleep well. Service was okay. At 4 am, when I had no choice but to pay before a tour, one person charged me 10$ for a machine cappuccino that costs 10 sol, at the local rate of 3.7 to 1$.

The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, just genuinely nice people. It’s a great location, a short walk from the centre, and I loved the eclectic look of the main hall and restaurant. The room was a letdown, though. The bed was uncomfortable and I couldn’t sleep well. The faucet, water knobs, shower, and toilet flush were all wobbly, which made them awkward to use.
