Hotel Siete Ventanas

We found it very handy as a base for exploring Cusco and the surrounding area, and for setting off on the Inca Trail. The Central Plaza is an easy walk away. Our family of four, a couple with daughters aged 13 and 11, had plenty of room, and the rooms had private bathrooms. The beds were comfortable too. The rooms backed onto a huge rock wall. I assume it may be part of Inca-era foundations, though I could be wrong. Staff were very helpful, spoke English well (our Spanish wasn't great), arranged laundry, and looked after our bags when we began our four-day Inca Trail Trek. It was a very good-value hotel, and we'd strongly recommend it.

For the price, this hotel covers the basics well and sits conveniently near Plaza de Armas, a good starting point for seeing Cusco. The shower gets hot right away, which is welcome in the cold weather, and the heater comes on at 8:00 pm to keep the room warm overnight. Beds are comfortable. Breakfast is simple but enough, with fresh fruit, bread, yogurt, and eggs made to order. The rooms are dimly lit, and the Wi-Fi kept dropping out, which could be frustrating if you depend on it. Still, it's a budget-friendly place for a comfortable stay in a central location.

For a 24-hour stay, this was just right and reasonably priced. The included breakfast was a proper meal, with eggs cooked to order, fresh vegetables, juice, oats, yogurt, croissants, and more. Everything was fresh. The staff were all friendly and accommodating, and the beds and pillows were comfortable. The showers were really hot.

Irene and Yosgali were especially helpful whenever I had questions, and the staff were so friendly. The hotel is in an incredible location, and breakfast every morning was amazing, better than I expected. Hotel Siete Ventanas is highly recommended for a lovely stay. I'll be back soon!
