Sunset House Cusco - Hostel

The rooftop view was great, the showers were hot, and breakfast was good. What really stood out was how kind the staff were and how clean and pretty the facilities felt during my three nights here. When my boyfriend and I checked in with his guitar, the guy at the desk invited us to play at the rooftop show the next day. We played for about half an hour and loved how welcoming the hostel was. Such a relaxed feel. I’ll keep recommending it.

The view is beautiful, and the staff were friendly and helpful. It’s clean, open, and has a cool vibe, with mostly good WiFi and a shower with great pressure. Nights are cold, though, and in the morning we had no water for either the toilet or tap, which was a bit rough. Apart from that, it was great.

The rooftop looks out over Cusco, and having coffee there in the morning is lovely. It’s also in a good spot, about a 10-minute walk from the plaza de armas. The team were really accommodating and the hostel is very nice. Great value for the price, so I’d strongly recommend it. Don’t hesitate :)

We ended up staying four nights because we liked both the hostel and Cusco. It’s cozy and has a bit of a hippie feel, in a quiet neighborhood with lots of vegan and vegetarian restaurants. Breakfast was good and the beds were comfortable. The only drawback is the small number of bathrooms, just three.
