The Embassy - Backpackers

We had booked ahead, but when we got there they bluntly said there were no rooms left and offered no alternative. It was high season, so we had to find somewhere else at the last minute. We also asked to cancel a later booking we had with Embassy, and eventually they did let us cancel it for free.

The price was good, but that was about the only okay thing. The rooms were very cold, and I couldn't tell whether breakfast even existed. The bathrooms weren't good either. I just can't recommend staying there.

O hostel é simples e econômico, então não dá para esperar luxo, mas cumpre o básico e é um lugar bacana, com defeitos como qualquer outro. A limpeza do quarto é legal, o wi-fi também, e a lavanderia deles é acessível e barata, ainda mais considerando que há duas lavanderias em frente. A localização fica entre o centro e a rodoviária, com ônibus barato passando na porta. Também tem padaria, conveniência e mercearia por perto, tudo barato. O ponto que precisam melhorar são os chuveiros, que às vezes funcionam e às vezes não. Não sei por que não colocam um chuveiro elétrico como no Brasil, kkkkk, parece tão mais simples e fácil. Mas enfim, deve ser questão de cultura. E quem critica demais devia procurar um hotel 5 estrelas, porque estamos falando de um hostel/albergue econômico e simples.

We did meet some nice new friends in our room, and the bed itself was comfortable. Still, I wouldn't choose this hostel again. The owner didn't seem to know much about the city. When we asked her to order from a nearby pizzeria, she said it was closed for Christmas, but we were eating there twenty minutes later. She didn't offer maps or local information either. Breakfast was awful, just bread, butter, and bottled juice, and she tried to charge more than the advertised price. For the same money, you can find equally affordable hostels closer to home.
