Hotel Solís Dies

For 100 soles, about $30.50, this is a great deal. The executive option at 115 soles is nicer, too. It's only a block and a half from Parque Kennedy, and the quality and location make it easy to recommend. The website already shows what to expect, so I don't understand the one-star rating. Great option!

I have photos and videos of what happened. They gave us a white towel that looked just like theirs, same color and everything, but wanted $20 because it didn't have their logo. It's the same kind of towel they supplied, and I wouldn't even know where to buy one like it. They also took my empty beer bottles for the return, then said I owed them $20. I had their beer right there, but they took my empties too, apparently because beer across the street costs half as much.

The musty smell made the room impossible to stay in and left us dizzy. We went to another hotel despite having paid for the night. The staff weren't helpful, and we got no refund.

They wouldn't move us to another room even though the humidity made ours impossible to stay in. It was hard to breathe because of the smell. The customer service was the worst, and the whole experience was horrible.
