El Molle

Really good.

The waterfall pool was a highlight, and both the location and service were great. Prices were affordable, too. Highly recommend.

I liked the family feel and the quiet atmosphere most. This rustic guesthouse has been run by the family for more than twenty years, and the hosts are attentive about making your stay comfortable. It’s in Lunahuaná, a few minutes from the main square, but the setting is peaceful, with inviting shared spaces for relaxing away from the city. There’s a playground for children, a pool, a barbecue area, and plenty of parking. Rooms are basic but do the job, with single, double, and family options. Prices range from 90 to 180 soles.

The price was acceptable, but I was uncomfortable because several advertised services weren’t available. The restaurant wasn’t operating, and the games room, bar, and store were also unavailable, so I had to go elsewhere for everything. The pool wasn’t maintained either. The setting itself was pleasant, with green areas, a pool, and a lovely view of the hills. It was quiet during my stay, perhaps because I went midweek, and being right on the highway made the place easy to find.
