Woodland Hotel

The internet is super fast, so I may come back and give them a chance to get their four stars back. It was secure and clean, and they offer a free ride to Clark Intl Airport. When I arrived two hours early, the room was ready, but checking in early cost 800 pesos. After walking around for two hours, I came back to order wine and found they had none. The shower was cold, the AC was also cold but rattled noisily all night, and the shower tile was cracked with what looked like a blue Bondo repair. The free breakfast was awful: iceberg lettuce, kimchee, white bread, eggs, and cold coffee with powdered creamer. They fried two eggs for me, and I bought a Mango and bottled water for 200 pesos. At checkout my scheduled airport ride was delayed because the driver was taking another client, even though a hotel van was in the parking lot. The front desk made me wait while they checked the condition of my room, and I almost missed my flight. I guess this place gets looted a lot. The place was secure, clean, and quiet, with great amenities.
