The first time we stayed here was fine, so we came back twice more. But in both of the other rooms we were assigned, the air conditioning barely cooled the room. It got so hot that we couldn’t sleep. I hoped our third visit would be different, but it was just like the second room, and I was really disappointed. That problem takes away the comfort guests should have here.

We felt the stay was worth what we paid, and the staff were friendly and accommodating. Lacson Street is nearby, so getting around was easy. Our room was close to the staff quarters, though, and we could hear people talking late at night. They seemed to be renovating that part of the hotel, so I understood the noise.

It’s a cozy, affordable place with a good breakfast. Lagoon is literally a thousand steps away, which made for a nice morning walk, and Ayala Mall is very close too.

The bed and pillows were so cozy, and my room had lots of space for one person. The free breakfast was delicious and just the right size, especially since there’s plenty of food to try around Bacolod. It felt homey, probably because it’s a family-run B&B. Mosquitoes were the one thing that bothered me, but I still enjoyed staying here.

I arrived early in the morning on September 2, 2025, and checked out the following day. They let me check in around 06:30AM for the same 1,200 pesos rate, and the staff were very kind. The morning security guard even offered me a ride to Murcia, where he lives and where I was headed. He wouldn’t accept payment when we got there. Madamo guid nga salamat kuya. The room was clean, with hot and cold showers, keycards for the door and room power, and complimentary soap and shampoo with conditioner. There’s also a garden where you can eat the free breakfast. The aircon wasn’t especially cold, but it was fine, and I slept comfortably under the thick two-layer bed covers. The location isn’t prime, though it’s only a few meters from Lacson Street, the main thoroughfare, and the airport is about half an hour away by Grab. There’s Wi-Fi, but it didn’t reach my room on the first day. I was told it was raining and there were too many guests. The next morning was sunny, there were fewer guests, and the Wi-Fi finally worked and was fast. I hope guests follow the no-smoking and no-vaping signs in the common areas, for the sake of non-smokers and non-vapers.
