Travelite Hotel Legarda

We walked to the night market and back without breaking a sweat, so it's really close. Check-in with my moped gang was quick, and we kept in touch with the hotel on Viber. The Wi-Fi was good and the bed super comfy. Service was perfect, and the rooms, amenities, and prices work well for backpackers. The shower heater works, but give it a little time to warm up. Maybe that's because Baguio water is generally very cold. There's no bidet, though you can ask for a pail and dipper and do it the Filipino way :D

I was unsure about booking after reading some reviews, but our standard twin room with two double beds was very clean and spacious. We got a corner room with a nice city view, and the bathroom was spotless with tiles that looked brand new. The sink also had a hot water option, which we appreciated. There's no bidet, but you can request a pail and dipper. The location is easy to get around from. Special thanks to bellman CJay for helping with our bags and keeping them safe. Amazing service! :)

The staff were nice, and I'm sorry to leave such a review, but there were too many disappointing things for the price. At check-in they charged a 500 Pesos room key deposit and gave us a long list of strict rules about what we could and couldn't do. After traveling for hours to Baguio, it didn't feel welcoming at all. We booked a "deluxe room," but it was worse than any cheap hostel I've stayed in. There were broken dents in the walls, floor, and ceiling. The flush toilet leaked every time we flushed, and the bathroom smelled awful, like sewage and mold. The wall-mounted air-conditioning was like having an open window, so it was constantly loud and there was nothing we could do about it. The towels were stained and dirty, and they told us they had no unstained ones. We asked to change rooms three times, but none of the options were decent. I'd avoid staying here unless it's the last hotel available in town.

The room was very, very comfortable and clean. Some rooms were fully booked, so we chose a standard room and didn't take any pictures. The staff were kind and friendly, especially the woman we met when booking. She offered us an early check-in so we could rest. Kudos to Travelite!! 🙌✨💕 There wasn't breakfast included, but you can add it for about ₱250. Gerys Restaurant is right beside the parking lot, and we saw lots of people eating there. From the picture, you can see the streets, and Burnham Park is just below that street. The lobby and prices are shown too. One tip for getting a taxi: if the driver doesn't know Travelite Hotel, say it's on Legarda Street. Safe trip, and five stars for this hotel!
