Villa De Babat

The hospitality exceeded what I expected, and I felt at home. Breakfast was a fresh, tasty traditional Philippines meal. We stayed three nights, with clean, spacious rooms, great A/C, and heated showers. The airport is only about a four-minute walk away. I'd give it more than five stars if I could, and I'll definitely stay here again.

The rooms were clean and quiet, and meals came out on time. The location is great, and they also arrange rides, tours, and laundry. When we arrived, nobody was there at first, so we had to wait a little to be welcomed. They did let us check in early.

The on-site restaurant's delicious breakfast added an authentic touch to our trip. Our room was clean, spacious, and had a lovely garden view. The staff were exceptionally welcoming and helpful, and the hotel is in a peaceful spot close to key attractions. We had an incredible experience at this hotel in Basco, Batanes. It exceeded our expectations, and I highly recommend it to anyone visiting Batanes.

The downsides were weak bidet pressure, no bell at reception, which sometimes meant looking for staff and waiting, and pricey laundry. Otherwise, this was highly recommended for a short or long stay in Basco, for business or leisure. The location is quiet and nature-y, a five to ten minute walk from the airport. The pool is non-chlorinated. Breakfast was free and delicious, the room and bathroom were spacious and clean, the bathroom updated, and the A/C strong and cool. The toilet flush passed with flying colors. There's a small, well-stocked honesty store on-site with reasonable prices, decent Wi-Fi, and transport is easy to find. Staff can connect you with tours. They were very accommodating with early check-in, too. We arrived around 8-9 a.m. and got checked in, with breakfast as well.
