The gray-sand beach has a lovely sunset view, and there’s parking for around 20 vehicles. Staff were friendly, and the food was good enough, though nothing special. It’s about five minutes from downtime. Some areas look great in photos, but a few corners could use cleaning and repairs. Decent overall.

The tables and chairs around us were sticky and messy, and the rice was cold, hard, and had too much MSG. We asked for very hot water for coffee but got water that wasn’t hot enough. Our family came to Anahaw near the seaside for breakfast, and the service was bad. We waited around 30 to 45 minutes for the food, and when we needed help, no staff were around, so we had to go to the front desk. The Pinoy silog wasn’t worth the price: tiny portions, only about 5-6 small pieces of tocino, tough tapa, and they didn’t follow our request for the egg. We asked them to cook it again and waited another 10 minutes just for that. We were disappointed with the food, service, and place. I wouldn’t recommend it for a family meal.

Our rooms were clean, and the sea breeze kept the temperature comfortable. You can look out at the sea while eating, and the food is good without costing much. The staff are accommodating, too. It’s a simple but great place, with live music at night. I’d recommend coming for a drink.

I’ve eaten here several times. The food is good, prices are fair, and the atmosphere is pretty decent, so it could earn a better rating. But the beach has been littered and dirty every time I’ve visited, and there’s even evidence of wastewater running from the building into the water. Come to eat or attend an event, but I wouldn’t come here to swim.

The dorm-style room needs an upgrade, especially the shower. We stayed one night and weren’t given towels, and using one costs 50 pesos. The food is good, particularly the sisig, and the staff are really nice and accommodating.
