Decent room for what it costs.

The room change helped a little, but even room 109 was only slightly better than 110, and the place still has a lot to fix. I’d expect more for over P1000 a night in the province. I’d booked a Standard Double Room through Agoda for two nights at P2128 total, or P1056 per night. Beforehand, I emailed to ask if I could pay by MasterCard and was told yes, but that wasn’t possible when I arrived. They asked for a P500 deposit at check-in, which seemed reasonable. In room 110, none of the five WiFi networks worked. The room list promised 63 TV channels, but there were only 41. The safe didn’t work, there was no safety deposit, and yet the rules said they weren’t responsible for things that went missing. Breakfast was advertised as being served in the morning, but it wasn’t. There were ants in the bed, and the water heater was right next to the shower, which felt extremely dangerous, like something from a "final destination". That evening I also got a shock from the light above the bed. I sent management a long email, something I’d never done before, and they moved me to room 109 the next day.
