The room was ready when I arrived at 1, even though check-in was at 3, but they wanted to charge 100 pesos for each early hour or make me check out the same number of hours early. Feels like the same greed I keep seeing here. Don’t trust the pictures: the shower pressure was very low, the TV was tiny and didn’t work, and the toilet wouldn’t flush properly. If you’re coming from the first world, don’t believe the pictures or reviews.

A good spot for groups, with polite staff and a convenient location about 1.5km from SM Cebu. It’s an old building, but the aircons work and the bed was clean. Maintenance was about 7/10. Cheap, and early check-in is possible.

For Php 1,500 all-in for one night, we got a two-bedroom place that worked for three adults, and I think they may offer discounts for longer stays. There was parking, a guard around the clock, and an elevator up to the 6th floor. The jalousie windows had curtains thick enough to cut down some light and outside noise. The kitchen had the essentials and then some: a double-burner electric stove, rice cooker, microwave, kettle, fridge, dishes, cups, and utensils. There was also a washer and spin dryer. We had three aircons across the bedrooms and living/kitchen area, plus hot and cold showers. The rooms had cabinets, a queen-size bed and a double bed, and there was a sofa. The TV had cable, though the remote batteries seemed to be dying, like it was the last day of 2019.

We were surprised to find the unit already stocked with dining things and utensils. The staff were really friendly, and my whole family was happy with the stay. We’ve only just started recommending this place.

For good coffee, iced drinks, or tea, try Simatra Cafe around the corner. It’s right by 7-11. Worth checking out.
