Service was adequate, but the facilities were poor. We stayed four nights. Wi-Fi only worked in the lobby, and housekeeping skipped our first night, so we had to ask at the front desk each morning. The bathroom was very run down, with ants in the shower and parts of the room. The mirror and counter still had toothpaste splashes and shaving hair when we checked in, and the shower curtain was rusty. There were only three outlets, none by the bed. The room wasn't sealed from outside, so we woke up to the smell of smoke every morning. It had AC and a fan, which helped, but the room never reached the set temperature, even at the lowest setting of 18c. The good parts were hot water and some good movies on cable. Most staff were friendly; the front desk person got nicer as our stay went on. For the price of a 3-star western-standard hotel, we got a room more like a 1-star motel. I meant to take photos but forgot in the rush to leave.

The two-bedroom apartment had comfortable beds, lovely-smelling sheets, fans, air conditioning, and warm shower water. There's no laundry service, but an express place is a couple of blocks away. For what you pay, it's a clean place to sleep near the town center, and I'd recommend it if that's what you're after. It's not five-star accommodation, but you get what you pay for. Nice to have beer and coffee there, too. There are plenty of restaurants and shops nearby. I saw reviews complaining about the small restaurant, but I had no issue with it. You can also refill drinking water on site. I only wish they'd mentioned that there's no Wi-Fi in the rooms and that the power might go out. Neither was a big deal for me as a traveler.

The apartment was spacious, with comfortable beds and a large table where we could spend time together. The furniture was old, but there was a fridge. The accommodation itself was okay. The real problem was the restaurant. Service was terrible and staff were rude, with almost nothing available. They closed the kitchen whenever they wanted, without warning. We were stuck there during a typhoon and couldn't get any of our meals from them.

The receptionist was helpful, but after seeing the rooms we quickly looked for somewhere else, even though we'd booked two nights. The furniture was very dated, the doors had large gaps above the floor, and the bathroom was tiny and dingy. I wouldn't recommend it unless you're on a shoestring budget, and even then it was still quite expensive.

We spent Christmas here as a group of six for two nights, and felt uncomfortable from the start. A typhoon meant we had to eat at the hotel several times, but the woman at the restaurant was rude from day one. She ignored me when I tried to get her attention and did everything she could to avoid serving us. On our last night, we arrived at 9:10 and she rudely said the restaurant was already closed, even though we'd previously been told it closed at 9:30. The service was the worst I've experienced. I don't recommend this place.
