The price was very good, and I had a nice stay. My room was basic but clean, with air conditioning available for an extra charge. The shower was cold. Everyone on staff was super friendly and helpful, and there are lots of cats around. Laundry is right at reception. It’s a little farther from things than some other resorts, but the island is small, so that was fine.

The receptionists were nice, and none of this was their fault. But the hostel had no hot water or air conditioning, even though we booked a room with both. When we tried to sort it out, they told us to speak with the manager, who never replied. We never got an effective answer. It wasn’t worth the price at all. And don’t order anything from the “restaurant”. It was just horrible.

The staff were really nice, but the smell from the cat cage behind the property was awful, almost unbearable. I don’t know why the cats were kept there. Our room was right beside it, and on very hot days the smell came through the room. I travel very minimally, but smells really get to me. Hopefully the staff are looking after the cats and their needs.

The staff and owner were exceptional, polite, and fun. We had a great time, and the room was excellent. Definitely a 10/10 for us. We’ll be back soon.

This was definitely the best hotel we stayed at in the Philippines. The woman at reception was so kind and thoughtful, and finally someone who speaks fluent English, thank God. We had two wonderful meals on two days in a row, but the food wasn’t at the same level on the third day because the cook changes.
