South Prince Residences and Inn

The location is convenient, near the heart of Toril and the main road, and easy to find. The bed was comfortable enough, and the service was okay for what it was, but my overall experience was subpar. I came at 3 AM as a last resort for the night. The room was only 2/5: very dim even with all the lights on, with an old-feeling paint job and atmosphere, and a poor layout. The room is the most important part of a hotel, motel, or inn, and this one missed the mark. I paid PHP 999, the lowest tier, and it felt like the room had been neglected. The price was horribly expensive for what I got. They should lower it, perhaps to 799 or 599, if their financial health is okay and they’re willing to accept a smaller safety margin. My overall score for the service is 2/5. It’s okay as a quick last resort, but if you can find another option, save yourself and stay somewhere better.

The shower drain was clogged, so it wasn’t perfect, and I’ve run into problems even in some 5-star rooms. Still, I’d highly recommend this place and will check in again on future visits. The rooms were neat and clean, with furnishings and bedding comparable to places that cost two or three times as much. Rates are like most motels, but without the depressing look of cheap paint on uneven concrete.

Comfortable enough to sleep in, and the Wi-Fi connection was good. Service was 7/10. There were no toiletries, and the room stayed dark even with the lights on.

It’s cheap and affordable, but the amenities seem to reflect that. There were lots of bugs and mosquitoes in our room. A residential area beside it had a cigarette smell that drifted into our room, and it was smelly.
