Morocco Hotel El Nido

The food was so delicious I was eating and dancing from happiness! Finding a Moroccan hotel in El Nido that also serves amazing Moroccan food made for a wonderful experience. Such a great idea to have Moroccan cuisine in the Philippines. The hotel was beautiful and very clean, with an excellent location. The staff were extremely kind and friendly, and they arranged tours with good companies at good prices. Truly an amazing experience.❤️👌

I really felt at home at this Moroccan restaurant in El Nido. The food has delicious, authentic Moroccan flavors, and the staff are so kind and welcoming. They only accept cash, which is a bit inconvenient. Apart from that, highly recommended!

The bed was comfortable and the location was good, but for the price, my 3 nights at Morocco Hotel didn’t meet expectations. The air conditioning was very loud and didn’t cool very effectively. Unpleasant smells came from the bathroom, sometimes now and then, sometimes constantly. There was mold on the plastic floor cover in the shower, and the drain barely worked. After showering, I had to wait quite a while for the water to go down. My standard room had no window and felt closed in, with a slightly stale smell. It was noisy at night, too, with loud music from the bar next door until around 10pm and even later on weekends. Overall, it didn’t feel worth the money.

My flight and ferry were cancelled because a typhoon hit Elnido. I asked for a refund 2 days before check-in, but the owner simply refused and wasn’t cooperative. Another hotel owner understood that this was due to an act of nature and was able to give me a partial refund. People in the Philippines can understand how a typhoon affects day-to-day life.
