My daughter and I loved the place. It’s quiet and cozy, and the staff are friendly. They shared some of their mangoes with us since it’s mango season, and that variety was so delicious. The food was good and affordable, too!

I wouldn’t recommend it. The room had no WiFi, which made for a really frustrating stay. There was no water in the room for a shower in the morning, though they fixed it later. The location is good and quiet, but the staff didn’t act on the service request to fix the problem. The pool water was a bit dirty as well.

The pool is nice, and even a rainy day can be fun there. They do charge corkage. After the owner replied, I wanted to add that roughly a third of resorts charge corkage. We usually skip those, since entrance fees should cover the resort’s costs. With a few kids, buying drinks and snacks can make the outing very expensive. Of course, they can set whatever charges they like, and many customers will go to the other two thirds of resorts, where the 100-150 pesos entrance fee and cottage rental are the only costs. We enjoyed our visit, but probably won’t be back soon. Isla Jardin Resort is also 150p and doesn’t charge corkage. At this level, most places are way overpriced 😜

The kids love this place, and we enjoy the quieter, more private feel of the pool. You only pay an entrance fee if you swim, so people watching their kids or waiting in a cottage don’t have to pay. The rules aren’t as strict as at some pools, though they can vary from day to day, so read the guidelines. Private event rentals are reasonably priced. The front desk person also cooks, which means food can take at least an hour. Order as soon as you arrive. The dishes are hot and tasty, though a bit pricey for a quick afternoon or evening visit, perhaps more suited to guests renting the whole resort. The front desk/chef was accommodating, which we appreciated. The place needs better upkeep and a thorough clean. The bathrooms are dark and dirty, and ants were everywhere. Those hygiene issues make us hesitant to recommend it, even though we do enjoy coming here. I hope they improve the restrooms and cleanliness while keeping the things we liked.

The staff were amazing, especially Jasmine, who was a sweetheart, and the food was tasty with generous portions. I ordered for one and got enough for two. For the quality of service and the experience, it’s very inexpensive. The room was exceptionally clean and cozy, and the bathrooms were clean too. It’s fairly central, and locals pay to use the pool, which helps keep the place active and supports its upkeep. I rented a cottage for two nights. Life got in the way through no fault of the resort, so I didn’t sleep there, although I did use the room. My one complaint is that the cottage has just one power outlet, and it’s inconveniently placed.
