Hotel Sogo Makati Ave.

We hadn’t planned to spend the night in MNL, but things happened and we needed a place that would let us check in early, at 5 AM. Sogo Hotel handled that well. Many thanks to Sir Darryl and Ms. Maria, who gave excellent service and helped us whenever we needed to extend our stay. We liked the food too, especially the Sinigang na Baboy and Lechon Kawali. The room had the basic amenities we needed, with a clean bed and comfort room. The ceiling lights in our room weren’t working, which was a bit disappointing, but we had a great experience overall and would definitely come back.

A friend who works there recommended this hotel when I recently visited manila. I was happy with the clean room, comfortable bed, and kind, welcoming, professional staff. I hope to stay here again in the future. Thank you po Sogo hotel Makati.

The location is very nice, and the reception staff were truly excellent. The first room we were given smelled strongly of cigarette smoke, though, so we were moved to another one. Breakfast was the worst part. There’s no proper breakfast area. They set up a makeshift table, then bring your order on a plate covered in plastic wrap and leave it in the middle. There’s no separate plate for serving or eating. I asked for a meatless sandwich and got one with meat in it. The food was absolutely zero.

The food was great, and the staff were always smiling and welcoming. Our room was clean and really comfortable too. We had an excellent stay and will definitely come back. Thanks, Sogo Makati.
