My deluxe room was roomy, clean, and set up in a convenient way. The person assigned to the lobby was quick to help, too. There are malls and places to eat nearby, though keep in mind they close around 8 or 8:30 pm.
The breakfast was terrible, though check-in was quick and the room had plenty of space. It’s an old hotel, but security was good. Staying here puts you close to the mall and market, so you get a feel for how crowded Manila can be.
The room they gave us had painfully slow Wi-Fi. Mobile data didn’t work there either, and I couldn’t make calls or send texts because there was no phone signal.
It costs a little more than the standard places nearby, but the facilities and accommodation were better, and the stay was comfortable. Most of the nearby spots are schools and fast-food chains, so there isn’t much variety.
